About Us

You've got questions? We've got answers. Well, some of them at least. If you have a question about Anatomy Ads that isn't addressed here, shoot an email to feedback@anatomyads.com. We'll get right on it, hit you back, and add it to the list.

What sites can I deploy Anatomy Ads on?

Technically, any site that supports a JavaScript injection. We've tested on the major blogging platforms (i.e. Blogger, Tumblr, WordPress, Moveable Type) and it's an easy install. A Flash version of the widget is in the works, which will allow for a much wider distribution (Facebook, MySpace, etc.). Basically, anywhere that allows embed tags and customizable profiles.

How do I deploy Anatomy Ads on my blog?

All you have to do is sign up and get the code. Then place it where you want it to appear on your site. If you look in the JavaScript code you'll notice a comment about how to change the layout (square, veritical, or horizontal). If you need any help, contact us.

How do I prevent unwanted persons/content from advertising in my widget?

All offers must first by approved. When someone places an offer to sponsor your widget, you'll recieve an email notification letting you know. If you want to accept it, just follow the link in the email.

I signed up as a publisher, can I also advertise on other peoples' widgets?

Of course! Feel free to promote your blog, site or brand within the network.

How much does it cost to place an ad?

Our ads are based on 30-day fixed sponsorships. You can place an ad for as little as $1. The amount you spend will roughly determine the amount of impressions you get. More popular users will command a higher dollar amount of sponsorship in order to recieve more impressions.

What ad sizes do you support?

Right now we only support officially support 128x128 ads. In addition to a 128x128 image of your choice, you can add a short mouseover text (up to 60 characters). Your ad links to whatever you want it to link to. 125x125 IAB buttons as supported as well, and will be matted against a small border. We plan on offering a full range of sizes in the future.

How long does it take for an ad to go live?

Ads go live at 12:00am GMT, so if you don't see it right away check back tomorrow.

How much money will I make? What's the revenue share?

How much money you can make depends on how many page views you get, how popular your content is, and what your audience thinks about it. There is no revenue share. Publishers (you) recieve 100% of paid advertisements, subject to a $0.30 transaction fee and 2.9% discount rate. For a $1 sponsorship you recieve about $0.67, whereas a $100 sponsorship will net you around $96. In addition to getting money from those directly sponsoring your widget, we will periodically make you offers on behalf of our partners. It's up to you if you want to run them in your widget.

Is there a minimum payout? What is it?

Yes. The minimum payout is $20. Once you reach a $20 balance, you can request a payout via check or PayPal disbursement. PayPal is quicker, but will be subject to any additional PayPal fees.

Is this a tipping/donation platform, or a CPM platform?

It's a little bit of both. You can think of it as a donation platform that actually gives something back to the person placing the donation, whehter that's some link juice, branding for their logo, or allowing them a short message. CPM in our system is variable, since as more sponsors compete for ad space in your widget, the amount of impressions they will get over the 30-day time period will change.
